The QIDI Max 4 is an advanced 3D printer designed for large projects and demanding materials. Its generous build volume, high nozzle temperature and actively heated chamber support both everyday filaments and engineering materials. The CoreXY motion system, closed-loop motors and extensive cooling system provide a stable platform for fast, precise printing.
A build volume of 390 × 390 × 340 mm gives you room to print large models in one piece. This reduces the need to split a design into smaller sections, saves assembly time and helps preserve the strength of the finished part.
The print head reaches temperatures of up to 370 °C, supporting materials ranging from PLA and PETG to PC and carbon-fibre composites. The ceramic throat and improved heat-dissipation module help reduce the risk of nozzle clogging during high-temperature printing.
The third-generation chamber heating system reaches up to 65 °C. Working with the air circulation system, it creates a more controlled environment for materials prone to warping. Select the chamber temperature to suit the filament being used.
Closed-loop FOC stepper motors provide responsive motion control. The supplier specifies a maximum printing speed of 800 mm/s and acceleration of up to 30,000 mm/s². Actual printing speed depends on the material, model and print settings.
The CoreXY motion system uses 10 mm-wide 1.5GT belts for rigid, precise print-head movement. The X axis runs on a high-hardness linear guide, while the Y axis uses 12 mm steel shafts. Four guides and two independent lead-screw motors support the Z axis, helping the printer maintain stability with large and heavy models.
Automatic bed leveling uses a load-cell sensor integrated into the hotend. A filament run-out sensor, AI camera and power-loss recovery function help monitor printing and reduce the need for manual intervention.
The three-stage air filter combines a G3 pre-filter, an H12 HEPA filter and coconut-shell activated carbon. A 5-inch touchscreen provides access to printer controls. Wi-Fi and Ethernet support network connectivity, while the 1080p camera enables print monitoring and time-lapse recording.
