QIDI Max 4 is an advanced 3D printer designed for large projects and for working with demanding materials. Large build volume, high head temperature and active chamber heating allow you to print both standard filaments and technical materials. CoreXY design, fast closed-loop motors and extended cooling system ensure fast, stable and accurate operation of the device.
QIDI Max 4 provides a working area of 390 × 390 × 340 mm. Such a large print volume allows you to create large models from a single piece without having to divide the project into smaller parts. This saves you time at assembly and maintains the strength of the finished model.
The printing head reaches a temperature of up to 370 ° C, which allows you to work with a wide range of filaments - from PLA and PETG to more demanding materials such as PC or carbon fiber composites. The ceramic neck and the improved heat dissipation module reduce the risk of clogging the nozzle, keeping the printing stable even at high temperatures.
The third generation of active chamber heating reaches temperatures up to 65 ° C In combination with the air circulation system, this creates a stable environment for printing materials that are prone to deformation. The chamber temperature shall be chosen according to the filament used.
Using FOC stepper motors in a closed loop increases the actuation efficiency by up to 65%. Maximum print speed reaches 800 mm/ s, and the acceleration reaches 30.000 mm/ s ². This configuration significantly reduces the completion time of the project while maintaining high accuracy.
The CoreXY movement system with 1.5GT belts of 10 mm width ensures high rigidity and precision of head guidance. The X-axis uses a high hardness linear guide, the Y-axis uses 12 mm steel shafts and the Z-axis uses four guides and two independent lead-screw motors. This allows the printer to remain stable even with large and heavy models.
The printer is equipped with automatic bed leveling with a load cell sensor integrated in the hot end. The monitoring system shall include an filament runout sensor, an AI camera and a print-resume function after a power failure. This makes the printing process safer and requires less manual control.
QIDI Max 4 has a 3-stage air filtration system consisting of a G3 pre-filter, a HEPA H12 filter and coconut activated charcoal. The printer is also equipped with a 5-inch touch screen, WiFi and Ethernet connectivity and a 1080p camera for viewing and recording the timelapse images of the printing process.
